The SFDR requires financial market participants to disclose sustainability-related information to investors. Stakeholders have raised concerns about several aspects of SFDR. The EC has therefore launched a comprehensive assessment of the SFDR to look at these issues in the context of the broader sustainable finance framework, with a focus on legal certainty, useability, and the prevention of greenwashing. The Commission has published a report and invites responses to the public consultation by 15 December 2023. Read more here.
